Landing Page Optimisation
A landing page is the first page someone will see when they enter your site. This is often times the homepage. However, many sites will set up dedicated and unique landing pages designed to be entered from various sources, including specific keywords or a PPC campaign (or any other advertising source, like email).
Optimising your landing pages is a crucial step to ensuring this traffic stays focused on your site, is interested in your message and is valuable to your business. A well optimised landing page will massively increase your conversion rate.
Nationwide Cars used an extensive PPC campaign to deliver traffic to the site, directing this to a number of different pages depending on their search keyword. While the campaign was set up in an effective way, their landing pages let them down by not being as targeted as possible.
We worked to develop a new style of landing page that was different from any other page on the site. This incorporated an optimised layout with powerful incentives that encouraged conversion. These pages used the same themes of the site design, but elements on the pages were designed in a more user friendly and enticing manner, increasing the chances of conversion.
The result was a far higher conversion rate compared to their previous page layouts. The call to action was visible and obvious, leading to visitors finding the contact forms and generating leads. These pages continue to be effective and further testing and refinements have led to even more conversions.
